(CNN Spanish) — Venezuela's opposition condemned Saturday for not yet being able to officially register Corina Yoris as a presidential candidate for July's elections, which officially close this Monday.

“About 72 hours after the start of the presidential nomination process, we condemn the fact that the CNE organization has not yet issued the verification keys to those responsible for the MUD and UNT cards to nominate our single candidate, Corina Yoris,” he declared. In a message on a social network

Other opposition leaders shared the brochure on the same social networking site.

“We call for the maximum attention of public opinion and the international community to this worrying situation, and we hope it will be resolved immediately,” the Voluntad Popular message added.

This Saturday, Elvis Amoroso, president of Venezuela's National Electoral Council (CNE), did not speak at a press conference about the opposition's complaints, but recalled that registered individuals will be questioned as part of the candidacy review process. CNN has sought comment on the opposition's complaints, but has yet to receive a response.

The opposition's complaint comes hours after Venezuela's opposition leader María Corina Machado – who was disqualified from public office – presented Yoris with the candidacy of the Unitary Platform at a press conference this Friday.

Opposition parties must register their candidates before Monday, March 25, the deadline for registering candidates.

This Friday, Machado expected them to clear several hurdles to make Yoris' candidacy official, including access to the CNE system to issue his replacement. It is the first step in a complex process that, even after admission, can be challenged and rejected.
