Apps that we don't use become the center of attack for cybercriminals

Cyber security experts like Kaspersky are proposing a simple solution to avoid being spied on. Reduce the risk of our privacy and security being compromised by a site we don't use. The dosage is called: one per day.

How the 'once a day' rule works

It is common to download various applications on cell phones as months go by, but it is a fact that many of them are forgotten after using them once and we never go back to them. This accumulation of applications doesn't just take up storage spaceBut it can also have serious consequences for our privacy and the integrity of our data.

First, these apps often have permissions that, if granted and then forgotten, can endanger our privacy. Additionally, some of these apps run in the background, consuming valuable resources such as memory and battery power. But, the most dangerous thing is that many of them are outdated and may be abandoned by their developers Vulnerable to security vulnerabilities that are never patched.

Against this backdrop, experts have proposed a simple yet effective solution: the 'once a day' rule. The objective is clear: Free our devices from apps we haven't used in months And it can endanger the health of our devices and the security of our data.

2. Click on the icon with our photo.

3. Select the Manage device and apps option.

4. Go to the second tab: Manage.

5. Filter the list by clicking the icon on the right side (three lines).

6. Sort list by least used.

iOS

1. Go to settings

2. Find the Screen Time option

3. Check out all the activities below the map.

4. A list of most used apps will appear below, so scroll down.

In this tool you can only view the list of the last two weeks. So those apps don't appear there because we don't open them at that time.
