The singer filed a sexual assault lawsuit in the US

Mexican singer known as Gloria de los Angeles Treviño Ruiz Gloria TreviHe filed a counter-suit against his former manager Sergio Gustavo Andrade Sanchez, Brown Rudnick LLP, a law firm, filed the filing Thursday in the Superior Court of the State of California.

The countersuit contains nine counts, including sexual assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress, and was filed in response to a lawsuit filed last year by two women against him and Andrade over sexual abuse allegations.

“By taking this legal action, Gloria Trevi hopes to shed light on the alleged abuse and ensure that the truth prevails. She has chosen to remain silent for years about the horrific abuse she suffered at the hands of Andrade to avoid horrific experiences and, most importantly, to protect her children and family,” the text maintains. .

The actress “presents this counter-case with great sadness due to the continuous attacks and false allegations against her,” he added.

“I have chosen to take this legal action to fight for justice and to send a message that such horrific acts will not be tolerated. No one should have to go through what I went through and I am determined to hold those responsible for their actions accountable.” Singer, quoted in the statement.

In turn, attorney Vasquez said Trevi has “shown great strength and courage by taking a step forward and filing this countersuit.”
