The Major League Soccer (MLS) America never ceases to amaze, and this time, it’s not just because of star presence Lionel Messi It contains Inter Miami. The North American League has approved a surprise regulation change that promises to further streamline the game and affect both the protagonists on the field and those waiting on the bench. This discovery is called “The Law of 10 Seconds”The 2024 season should change the dynamic of the competition, and under these new rules Messi will claim his first title in America.

The essence of this new regulation lies in speed and efficiency in changing players. According to the official MLS statement, a substituted player must leave the field within a maximum of 10 seconds. If the football player exceeds this time limit, the player replacing him must wait outside the field for one minute.

MLS has made it clear that this rule seeks to speed up the pace of play, avoid unnecessary delays and maintain a steady flow. However, exceptions to the rules have been established, especially for goalkeepers and injured players who need more time on the field instead.

In a further effort to reduce disruptions and improve the efficiency of the game, MLS has also implemented a player-on-field measure. If a soccer player is on the ground for more than 15 seconds and appears to be injured, the referee will remove him from the field and request evaluation by medical personnel. In this case, the injured player must stay off the field for at least two minutes.

In conclusion, MLS stands out for attracting global stars like Messi, but also demonstrates a constant desire to innovate and improve the soccer experience for players and fans alike. The 2024 season promises to be exciting, and with these regulatory changes, the American League is taking bold steps toward a more dynamic and exciting game.
