More than 400 people attended the ceremony, according to the organization’s sources Science Week At the National Center for Human Evolution Research (Sineh), which concluded today with guided tours of the comparative anatomy, digital mapping and 3D analysis, geochronology, microscopy, and CT laboratories, explained by its scientists and technicians.

Among the activities carried out, which were carried out in collaboration with the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) – Ministry of Science and Innovation, as well as the Association of Deaf Families of Burgos (ARANSBUR), is the Paleobiology Program lecture by researcher Ignacio A. Lazagabaster talks about the caves of the Judean Desert.

There were also activities targeting educational centers, such as the seventh edition of the magazine ‘Open laboratories‘, where secondary school students were able to learn about the geology, physics and chemistry sciences applied in the center’s laboratories. There was also no shortage of activities for the little ones, such as the children’s workshop “Perez’s Mouse Laboratory”, in which participants in the tenth Perez Tooth Collection campaign, which was held last September, learned about the research they are carrying out thanks to the teeth they donated. .

Furthermore, during Science Week, prizes were distributed for the children’s competition “Sapiens and Neanderthals” held during the Night of European Researchers, which brought together more than a hundred young artists from primary education. The awards ceremony was attended by the winning male and female students and their families.
