Government officials in the central Cuban province of Villa Clara announced this week that Servicubet, at kilometer 259 of the national highway, will provide fuel for rental tourist cars in the country. Not a very logical thing.

According to one Note An information report, published on the citizen portal in the territory, revealed that a large number of cars rented by agencies of the Ministry of Tourism plying the national highway had to enter the provincial capital for resupply, creating high costs.

Fuel for tourist cars at 259

According to official officials, in recent weeks, there has been an improvement in the levels of gasoline inputs in the province, although it was decided to provide 259 gas stations without conditions for normalization of free sales. Passenger cars or attached to a particular ministry.

“We transferred special petrol sales services for tourists from Servicubate El Capiro at Km 259 of the National Highway to Servicubate. 25 liters will be provided in the tank when there are vehicles. Throwing in the canister will not be allowed,” they explained.

“All institutional and insurance measures will be accepted so that once the existing volumes in Kapro are exhausted, the filling for this sector will begin at Servicubate 259.”

“Those incredulous tourists, or their Cuban social defects, pay in hard currency and have no ability to guarantee fuel” or “they have to leave two cubets because the person in Santa Clara has to go up to 259, which they pay against. You have to spend a little on going and turning”, were some of the reactions to this new move.
