On the morning of August 10, prof Dr. Alfredo Braulio Ceballos Mesa, First and Second Class Specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology, Doctor of Science, Senior Researcher, Consultant Professor, Distinguished Professor; Professor, friend, father and revolutionary mobster. Ceballos was born in Cienfuegos on March 26, 1935. He graduated in 1961 as a Doctor of Medicine.
Since then, there have been many works and projects that have come out of his hands and ideas: the establishment of the Army Sanitaries School in Camaguey County; medical assistance in 1970 to earthquake victims in Managua, Nicaragua; International Aid in the People’s Republic of Angola.
He trained very professionally in subjects such as orthopedic external fixation, according to Ilizarov.
