Yesterday afternoon, from 1:44 pm to 12:40 pm, the electricity service was affected due to lack of power generation capacity which lasted for 10 hours and 56 minutes. During this period, the maximum recorded impact was 275 MW, which occurred at 9:40 p.m.

Today, at 07:00, National Electricity System (SEN) availability of 2,590 MW and demand of 2,430 MW are reported, with the entire system in service. It is estimated that 150 MW will be affected during the day time.

As for units out of service due to outages, there are Unit 2 of Felton Thermoelectric Power Plant and Unit 5 of Rende Thermoelectric Power Plant. Also, maintenance work is underway on Unit 6 of Maximo Gómez Thermoelectric Power Plant, Unit 5 of Diez d’Octobre Thermoelectric Power Plant and Unit 6 of Rende Thermoelectric Power Plant.

Limits on thermal generation remain at 309 MW. On the other hand, of distributed generation, 935.6 MW was reported as unavailable due to outages and 159.5 MW under maintenance.

For peak demand, the input of two locomotives in mobile generation with a capacity of 36 MW is estimated, the input of Unit 2 of R. Leon Hydroelectric Station is 14 MW, the input of Central Rende Thermoelectric of Unit 5 is 80 MW, the recovery of 100 MW of distributed generation engines out of service due to fuel shortage and 160 of distributed generation machines. MW entry.

Based on these projections, peak hours demand is estimated at 2,980 MW and peak demand at 3,000 MW, with an expected shortfall of 20 MW and an impact of 90 MW.
