Earlier on Wednesday, the Turkish Foreign Ministry expressed concern over the incident, calling on all parties to calm down and exercise restraint.

The ministry called on Turkish citizens in the United States to stay away from crowded places and protest sites.
Tens of thousands of supporters of US President Donald Trump rallied near the White House on Wednesday to demand a review of the results of the presidential election won by Democratic candidate Joe Biden.
The protesters then marched to the Congress building along with the House of Representatives and the Senate.
