Michael B. Jordan is now a Hollywood star, enjoying his recent achievements such as his directorial debut with Creed III, which hits Mexican theaters on March 2.

However, decades ago, the actor didn’t have a good experience in high school due to being bullied, and because of the twists and turns of that life, he relives those tough times in the middle of a workday.

At one of the film’s red carpets, he once again put himself in the shoes of ‘Adonis Creed’ and had an embarrassing moment when a journalist interviewing him turned out to be one of the classmates who mistreated him. Adolescence.

The moment Laurel, the popular host of The Morning Hustle, meets Jordan again and asks him about the third installment in the saga from the classic Rocky takes a tense turn.

Prior to that episode, the journalist had already admitted on her podcast, Undressing Room, that she had teased her classmate at the school they both attended in Newark, New Jersey.

“If I have to be honest, the truth is, we always made fun of him because his name was Michael Jordan and he was obviously not Michael Jordan,” the girl admitted: “He came to class with his actor. With photos, with his portrait. We lived in Newark, It was in the neighborhood. ‘What are you going to do with that ridiculous photo?’ He’s a nice guy, but frivolous.”

So, when the two saw each other on the red carpet, Karma put the dishes in their place and the televised moment left everyone watching embarrassed. At the moment of opening the questions, to ease the tension, Lorl said:

We know each other, Michael, and our history goes back to Chad Academy of Science in Newark.” The visibly upset actor replied: “Yeah, I’m the ‘cheesy guy’, aren’t I?”

Lore’l hadn’t expected that and her obvious nervousness gave her away: “I never said that, it was definitely a misunderstanding,” she replied.

But Jordan was not far behind. “No, I asked, I asked. But everything is fine,” said the actor, trying to finish the topic of conversation. Laurel, on the other hand, wanted to have the last word: “I told you we made fun of your name, but now you’re better and you’re definitely not cheesy anymore,” her ex-partner told her. That unexpected encounter.

At the end of the interview, Laurel concludes by saying, “You’re definitely not a cheesy boy anymore,” referring to the nickname the actor was teased with in school.
