Sources – Sean Beaton Fights Over Daisy Hill Over James Winston As New Orleans Saints’ Early Cub

New Orleans coach Sean Beyton struggled to pick the Saints’ opening quarterback for Sunday’s game Daisy Hill, But many players and individuals in the company thought so James Winston Atlanta should have been the starter against the Falcons, sources said.

There is no definite timeline for how long Breeze will be sidelined when recovering from broken ribs and collapsed lungs, but the phrase “four to five weeks” came up a few different times last week from a variety of sources. Breeze was placed on injury reserves last week, meaning he will miss at least three games – starting on Sunday’s game against Atlanta.

Breeze told ESPN’s Ed Werter on Sunday that doctors were encouraged by his improvement in the first half of last Sunday’s victory over the San Francisco 49ers, especially the improvement in lung function and the continued scattering of pneumothorax. The 13-time Pro Bowler hopes Werder will be ready to play once he qualifies in the 14th week.
