The Espacio Pets competition will see 14 hamsters participate on Saturday and Sunday at the Luis Adaro Fairgrounds. According to Alvaro Alonso, Secretary General of the Gijon Chamber of Commerce, the event, now in its seventh edition, will present “activities revolving around the world of pets, food, aesthetics, cat space and traditional adoption cards”. , During the presentation, which was held at the City Hall of Gijon. Carmen Saras, an animal welfare consultant, explained that this year she will promote a special campaign to raise awareness of the need not to domesticate wild animals. It will be titled “Wild Make Pets”.

Opening hours for the public at the Luis Adaro Exhibition Center on Espacio Pets will be from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, with workshops and exhibitions of great importance.
