(CNN) –– Police are looking for a suspect they say kidnapped four members of a family in Merced County, California on Monday, investigators said.
Among the missing were 8-month-old baby Aroohi Theri, her parents Jasleen Kaur and Jasdeep Singh, and the boy’s uncle Amandeep Singh, the Merced County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. liberation on Facebook.
The family is believed to have been “abducted against their will” while at a business in the 800 block of South Highway 59 in Merced, located between Modesto and Fresno in central California.

Warnke urged the public to share any information related to the kidnapping with authorities, explaining that there were no known links to the ransom. “We have evidence that those involved destroyed evidence to cover their tracks,” he added.

Investigators have released a photo of the man they say is the suspect in the kidnapping.
