Kimberly Garcia once again made history for Peruvian sport after claiming her second gold medal at the World Athletics Championships. Held in Oregon, USA. A national athlete, she led the walk (35 km) from start to finish, bringing joy to the entire nation.

Nothing distracted her. An excited Kimberly Garcia managed to make history at the Athletics World Championships while being crowned with a time of 2:39:15 in the walking race (35 km). The 28-year-old athlete’s performance was outstanding and it ended with a podium finish for her.

For more than two hours, Kimberly Garcia was on top of the competition. He was at the top when he reached 10 km and the same scenario was repeated when he reached 19 km and 25 km. That persistence and resistance are the pillars of an Olympic athlete.
