AEE reports that cargo normalization process in Palo Seco has been completed – Telemundo Puerto Rico

The Electric Power Authority (PREPA) said Sunday that it has completed the normalization process for Unit No. 3 in Palo Seco.

As explained on Twitter, “Module 3 is 60 MW and continues to load cargo.” at the moment, According to the LUMA Portal, just over 2,000 customers without this service.

Later, they warned that due to a failure in Module 2 of AES, they would not have the expected generation to meet the expectations of maximum demand.

In light of this, the public institution has announced that there may be service interruptions during the peak demand period starting at 6:00 pm.
