Luma Energy has announced the launch of a new select blackout for hours at night in Puerto Rico.

Generations are being handled by the Electricity Board (PREPA), a company with new director Jose Cologne, amid a power outage on the island that has affected hundreds of customers since Efron Paradis submitted his resignation.
In addition, it was pointed out yesterday that Fernando Gill, the former secretary of the housing department, took over as chairman of the Prepa executive committee.
Currently, according to the corporation’s portal, there are more than 11,000 customers without service, with Arecibo the area most affected with more than 6,000 subscribers.
