Tokyo Japan – With a broken voice, Adriana could not hide the frustration and frustration lost by Theas.

The Puerto Rican denimist star was knocked out of the Tokyo Olympics after falling in the 16th round of table tennis on Tuesday.

In a fight at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gym in the Tokyo capital, 20-year-old Diaz, a senior denimist of Chinese descent, and Jia Liu of Austria died 4-0.

Sections 11-9, 11-4, 11-9, 11-9.

“I think she played well. I hope I can improve it on the mental aspect. That was not the result I expected today, but I finally tried,” said Theas in frustration in the mixed zone.

The flag bearer of the Puerto Rico delegation was embarrassed by the football.

Liu, 39, and in his sixth Olympics, was consistent in his attack throughout the game, and when Adriana came close to the scoreboard he thwarted any attempt by Puerto Rican.

“He’s been playing for years and years of experience, but obviously it’s not an excuse. I thought I could win. I felt I had everything to win. But things have not changed the way I thought,” Thias said.

The dominant American champion was in his second Olympics and was the ninth seed of the competition.

Uttuvena said he was leaving Tokyo with some learning.

“Like everything, if you lose, gain experience. I hope one learns at the end of these things and makes one better in the future. So, nothing, just keep going, ”he said.

Thias, like his coach and father Platimir Thias, has always said that the highlight of his career will be the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Many Central American and Pan American medalists acknowledged that “they were very serious days.”

“I believe I will be at the peak of my career in Paris 2024. Maybe people expect a lot from me. I obviously need to take that pressure. I think it’s normal. I will try not to leave him with failure for the next one,” he said.

Thias pointed out that after Tokyo, there are many matches on the agenda, but he will retire first before returning to the field.

Puerto Rican spent five months training in China for the Olympics.

Finally, Diaz sent a message to the people of Puerto Rico:

“Thank you very much. I know they were very supportive of me and the whole delegation. It’s just that they are there with us. Obviously, this is not easy. But just as they support us in victories, they support us in failures because it’s part of the game. I hope so, ”said Theas.

Thias is the seventh athlete from Puerto Rico to complete his summer run.
