Ricky Vaughan

Ricky Dean Vaughan passed from this life on September 28, 2019 at the age of 59 in Webb City, Mo.

 Rick was born on December 30, 1959, in Tulsa, Okla. He was the son of Bobby Dean and Carolyn Kay (Stroud) Vaughan. Rick began his education in Mannford and later graduated from Cleveland High School with the Class of 1978. Following his education Rick attended college at Missouri Southern State University. Rick later began working in the restaurant business doing what he loved most cooking. He has resided in several places but always considered Cleveland home. Rick also owned several restaurants throughout his life. He was well known to give a baking dish with his famous cheesecake recipe. Rick loved the Lord and traveled to Ukraine on a mission trip and said that was one of his greatest experiences in life.

 Rick is survived by his father Bob Vaughan of Mannford, Okla.; sister Denise and husband Sam Ready of Cleveland, Okla.; aunts Paula Garcia of Cleveland, Okla.; Alice Wilkins of Cleveland, Okla.; uncle George Vaughan of Sapulpa, Okla.; nephews Sammy and wife Jamie Ready and their daughter Della of Cleveland, Okla.; Jesse Ready and his children Jayden, Jaxon and Cora all of Tulsa, Okla. as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Rick was preceded in death by his mother Carolyn.

 Funeral services wer held Friday, October 4, 2019 at the Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Bob Elfrink officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Mannford, Okla.
