City Clerk Retired

It was all smiles at Cleveland City Hall last Wednesday as friends and co-workers surrounded City Clerk Annetta Franks to wish her well during a retirement reception. Pictured are (front) Vicki Childress, Ashley Schulze, Sasha Denny, new City Clerk Michelle Lehnus, Mayor Scott Rusher, Mrs. Franks, Kim Merriman, (back) councilman Mike Carroll and former councilman Dan Reeves.

Mayor Rusher used the occasion to express his gratitude for the high caliber of work Mrs. Franks brought to her job. “Few people understand everything that goes on behind the scenes at City Hall and the depth of responsibilities that fall to the city clerk. Annetta is a true standout and will be greatly missed.,” he said.

Mrs. Franks hopes to find time to travel and see her children and grandchildren, but will remain active in her home community of Pawnee where she and her husband own and operate the retail store, Where the Buffalo Roam.
