In celebration of White Night of Seville 2024, House of Science Museum It will be open for free to provide an educational and entertaining experience for all audiences. The event will be held at the museum’s headquarters in the city of Peru wing in Maria Luisa Streetfrom 6:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
This museum, which is run by Supreme Council for Scientific Research (CSIC)It seeks to bring science closer to the community in a fun and accessible way. During the seven hours that the exhibition will be open, attendees will be able to explore fascinating exhibits on a wide range of scientific topics. Among them stand out:
- Minerals, Fossils and Rocks:A journey through the oldest and most fundamental elements of the Earth.
- Cetaceans and marine life:Learn about the anatomy and behavior of these ocean giants.
- Crystallography:Discover the secrets behind the structure of crystals and how they form.
- Journey to Antarctica: Virtual immersion in the scientific expeditions undertaken by CSIC researchers in the White Continent.
- Satellite images of the worldEnjoy unique views of the Earth captured by satellites.
- Virtual visit to Doñana: Explore Doñana National Park through an immersive experience without leaving Seville.
- Mars rover crew:Put yourself in the shoes of an astronaut and play by controlling a vehicle on the red planet.
Free admission will allow attendees not only to enjoy these exhibitions, but also to experience firsthand how science can be an essential part of urban culture.
