WhatsApp Plus Red is not an official app or available in regular application stores like Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Interested users have to search and download the app's APK file from external sources, which raises some security concerns.
How to enable “Red Mode” on WhatsApp?
Users who want to avail the option to change their WhatsApp color from green to red should follow these steps:
Delete WhatsApp app: Before doing this step, it is better to create a backup so that you don't lose your data.
Then, download WhatsApp Plus Red.
Accept permissions to access and chat with your contacts.
Then add your number and add your name.
Finally, WhatsApp Plus will appear completely red.
If the user wants to revert to the green version, they only need to go to their app's configuration in “Settings”.
