Mary Johnson-Hardesty is no longer working as the executive director for the Cleveland Chamber of Commerce, it has been reported.

Speaking on behalf of the Chamber, Joann McGrew, the group’s current president released the following statement:

“The Cleveland Chamber is going through a re-organization. Due to the lack of new memberships and failed fundraisers we had to look over our budget and cut the chamber director position at this time. Mrs. Johnson-Hardesty has served the Cleveland Chamber of Commerce well the past 4 years, we wish her well and will continue to work closely with her through this transition. The efforts of the Chamber Board will continue to keep the Chamber in place and continue on with all scheduled events.”
