In front of a hundred-plus friends and family Christina Mallory and Timothy Chicoraske exchanged wedding vows on December 13, 2014 at Castle Falls in Oklahoma City, Okla. with Rev. Maggie Ball presiding. They chose the particular date, 12-13-14, recognizing that historic sequence will never be repeated.
The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Carol Mallory of Blackburn, Okla. She wore a champagne trumpet floor length gown featuring overall sequin and opulent gold lace with corral sand/cognac laser overlay boots. She carried a bouquet of ivory golden roses, white peonies with lavender and red tea roses and greens.
Her matron of honor was Kendall Ellexson of Stroud, Okla. Bridesmaids were Lauren Thompson, Amy Thompson both of Oklahoma City and Courtney Blacksten of Hydro, Okla. The bride’s attendants wore navy blue floor length empire waist dresses made of flowing chiffon. They carried a smaller version of the bride’s bouquet.
Mr. Chicoraske is the son of Carrol Thomas and Leon Chicoraske of Oklahoma City. The best man was Matt Jacobson of Oklahoma City. Groomsmen were Blake Thompson and Drew Thompson of Oklahoma City and Mike Rhea of Tulsa, Okla. The men wore chocolate brown corduroy jackets, blue jeans and boots — except for the father of the bride, who wore his iconic Hawaiian print shirt.
The bride walked down the aisle with her father to Dolly Parton’s From Here to the Moon and Back. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds exited to Celtic Thunder’s I’m Gonna Be.
A reception followed in the Castle Falls Event Center with a bountiful buffet. In lieu of a traditional wedding cake, a gourmet cupcake tower featured variety of flavors. Centerpieces on the black cloth covered round tables consisted of a cedar plate with jars decorated with burlap and gold ribbon filled with white hydrangeas, red roses and greenery. The couple’s first dance was to Mumford and Sons’ Thumper. The bride and her father danced to Elvis’ Love Me Tender.
Mr. and Mrs. Chicoraske are now residing in Oklahoma City following a week long wedding trip to Disney World, Florida. She is employed as the program director of Uptown 23rd. He is employed by Integris Health as an Epic Systems Administrator.
