A group of Cleveland students recently returned from a whirlwind trip of ‘walking through a history book’ as they visited Washington, DC (shown at the White House) and a number of nearby locations. They took along their hometown newspaper, The American!

 History came to life for a group of Cleveland students and their chaperones who recently returned from an educational journey to Jamestown, Williamsburg, Yorktown, Mount Vernon and Washington DC.

 The group of 20 students ans 12 adults spent more than a year in preparation for the May 25-29 trip. Organizing and supervising the trip was Cleveland Intermediate School teacher Pamela Thornton, who worked with the travel agency World Strides to orchestrate the busy days of sight-seeing.
