Spring brought the hatching of baby chicks in the Cleveland Primary School kindergarten classroom of Dixie Torres(shown here with a few of her students holding the newborns).

Mrs. Torres’ class had been anxiously awaiting the hatching last week. The Primary School’s kindergarten classes take turns using the incubators in their classroom to let their students share in the excitement of hatchlings. The eggs are provided by kindergarten teacher Mrs. Susan Keeler. The chicks return to Mrs. Keeler’s farm once they are ready for the great outdoors.
