City Hall, the police department and fire department are pitching in to ensure local kids in need have supplies for back to school.

Look for the big yellow bus parked in town from July 31-August 11, and you can help fill it with needed items.

On Monday-Friday, the school bus will be parked at City Hall/Police Station on Caddo from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. After 4 p.m. and on weekends, you will find it at the fire station on Broadway.

You can find a list of school supplies at Walmart or on the CPS website clevelandtigers.com.

Police Chief Clint Stout said this is a way the city and the school district can work together to achieve a common goal – making sure kids are prepared and have the tools they need to be educated future leaders of the community.
